Fall Webinars

webinar.pngIn the Fall, Team GLOBAL put together a three-week webinar series to showcase to international students what Agnes Scott College has to offer. The series was led by Nazanin Tork and Emily-Davis Hamre, our two admission counselors who are responsible for international students. Along with them, Ciel ’18 and myself (Erika ’19) co-hosted as current international students and Global Fellows. In case you missed the webinars, you can watch them by clinking on the links below.

  1. Meet Agnes Scott – This webinar provides a quick introduction to Agnes Scott College and what it has to offer. After a quick history lesson, you will learn about the Agnes Scott mission and as well as the surrounding Atlanta area and what opportunities that provides for our students. You will also be introduced to some current and recently graduated international students.
  2. Study at Agnes Scott – This webinar offers information regarding academics and co-curriculars at Agnes Scott College. We address admission requirements, our wide breadth of majors and minors, and the highly innovative SUMMIT program. We also discuss academic and professional outcomes for students after graduating from Agnes Scott College, such as admit rates to graduate school and job prospects.
  3. Live at Agnes Scott – This webinar introduces you to the residential and social life at Agnes Scott! You will get a sneak peak into our dining options, as well as the housing options we have here. We also discuss potential study spaces and the many student organizations you can join when you get here. From there, we expand to talk about Decatur, where Agnes Scott is located, and accessing Atlanta using the public transportation.

Agnes Scott is in a prime location for its students, and offers some of the best academic programs out there. The campus life is exciting and there is always something to do! Hopefully, through these webinars, you will be able to capture a better glimpse of what Agnes Scott can offer.
